Job fit gap analysis
Paste a posting and your resume, and get a straight verdict — including when the answer is “do not bother”. It is built to tell you no, because a false yes costs you weeks.
Gap analysis is part of Pro
An honest read on whether a role is worth applying to, including when the answer is no. A false positive costs you weeks.
Two kinds of gap, two different fixes
The analysis separates requirements you genuinely lack from ones you probably have but never wrote down. They need opposite responses, and confusing them is the most common mistake applicants make.
An unstated gap is free to fix — add the line. Screening software cannot infer that your reporting work involved SQL; you have to say the word. A genuine gap needs an actual decision: apply anyway and address it directly, or spend the time on a better-matched role.
On the “apply anyway” advice
The common wisdom is to apply if you meet 60% of requirements, and it is broadly right — postings are wish lists. But it is not unconditional. Missing a hard requirement (a licence, a legal authorisation, a specific certification) is different from missing a preferred one. The severity ratings here reflect that distinction rather than treating every gap as equally survivable.
